The easiest way is with a low pressure sprayer. You can also use a roller, paint pad or brush if you prefer.
Remove the excess with microfibre cloths. The excess may only be seen in the low areas in the stone.

Yes, this product allows moisture vapour transmission.
It will be flat matt as the product is fused into the surface of the stone. It also intensifies the natural colour contained within the sandstone. Similar to dampening the stone to bring out colour but with a natural matt finish.
Yes, you could use a simple dry finish impregnator called Floorseal Natural Stone Sealer Breathe. It is again a breathable impregnator but does not alter the appearance of the stone.
Or use Floorseal Natural Stone Colour Enhancer which is a much stronger version of this product.

A sealer described as a ‘wet look’ sealer is a form of sealer which may darken stone as a by-product. They will usually leave a satin finish as they are a surface sealer.
Yes it can be used on internal floors. You may also wish consider Floorseal Stone & Tile Sealer Satin as it is specifically for internal floors.
A 5 litre container will cover approximately 40m2. Please allow for some variation, natural stone is not a uniform material!
Yes its breathable, so will let vapour travel up & out from within the stone.
Yes it works best on the more colourful sandstones – the more interest there is in the stone the better it works.
To highlight, enhance or intensify colour it needs to be present in the first place. The sealer is just giving the colour a ‘push’ to make it a little more noticeable.
Colour can just be in the form of a warm red/creamy tone -this can be intensified.
Flat grey or sawn grey sandstones often only have visible colour when really wet. We would say they are the hardest to create interest in. Sometimes you cannot create interest in this type of sandstone.

It is a non acidic cleaner which can be diluted to suit local conditions. It will tackle light contaminations of brush in compounds. Brush in compounds can leave a resinous invisible ‘slick’ either side of the joint.
