Floorseal Interior Brick Cleaner is a non-acidic brick cleaner suitable for removing dirt and ingrained grime. It is suitable for use as a pre-cleaner prior to sealing with Floorseal Interior Brick Sealer & Dustproofer. This brick cleaning solution can be used diluted from 1:5 with clean water or up to & including applying the product neat. Interior Brick Cleaner is not an acid-based cleaner, so can be safely used on brickwork which has been lime pointed. It is safe for use on any interior brick or natural stone including limestones.
This product is best applied with a brush, leave the solution to dwell and agitate periodically. Do not allow the brick cleaner to dry on the surface. We recommend rinsing with water after cleaning the surface. Repeat as required. If you wish to seal your bricks after using this product please use Floorseal Interior Brick Sealer & Dustproofer. To remove heavy contaminations of cement staining on bricks & masonry please use Floorseal Cement & Grout Haze Remover. Do not use Cement & Grout Haze Remover on acid sensitive surfaces i.e. limestones.

Yes, it is safe to use on sandstones and other natural stone such as granite or slate.
It will remove very light contaminations of grout & cement hazing. It will not remove thicker contaminations or layers of cement or grout haze.
If you wish to specifically remove cement based pointing etc use Floorseal Cement & Grout Haze Remover only use this product on acid resistant surfaces.
Yes, it is perfect for removing dirt & grime. It will also remove some waxes and oils.

Interior Brick Cleaner has a non-acidic formula so safe to use on a brick or stone wall which has been lime pointed.
Not all! – if you have soot/carbon deposits which have become ingrained over many years they will not be removed by a cleaning alone. Even sandblasting will not remove all traces of carbon from an old porous brick or natural stone wall or hearth.
Interior Brick Cleaner will remove surface grime, dirt, waxes & oils. Anything which has become very deeply embedded into the surface will remain, but it may be possible to make those deposits less obvious.
