Slate Patio Sealer is for sealing slate pavers and colour enhancing slate tiles, pavers and slabs. Slate Patio Sealer seals and enhances the surface of slate producing a deeper & richer colour with a matt natural finish. Similar to dampening the surface to enhance natural colour & shading.

No, it is a clear liquid that penetrates the surface and deepens colour.

Yes, but we recommend Stone & Tile Sealer Satin for interior slate surfaces.

It soaks into the slate to deepen the colour and inhibit water and oil staining. A little like oiling wood, to increase interest whilst retaining a natural but enhanced appearance.

It will dry leaving a deeper colour with a natural matt appearance.

We recommend pre cleaning with Floorseal Sealer Residue Remover if you have used brush in compounds.

If you have cement staining from a traditional sand and cement pointing mix please pre clean with Floorseal Cement & Grout Haze Remover.

We recommend using Floorseal Cement & Grout Haze Remover Adjust the dilution rate to suit the level of residue on site.

A textured masonry style roller, paint pad or brush. Remove all excess product within 10 minutes of both applications. Buff each paver dry with microfibre cloths. It is imperative that all excess is product is removed.

We recommend working in small patches of a few square metres at a time.

The product will dry in a few hours but will not cure for 24-72 hours. Do not allow the product to become wet during this time.

It will deepen colour so is similar to dampening with water. It does not create a shine.

It is critical that the slate and substrate is dry and the conditions remain dry during curing.

We would recommend waiting at least a few weeks before applying this sealer.
