The Basic 7 is a practical manual 5 Litre pressure sprayer designed for occasional DIY cleaning, surface treatment and sealer application. A reliable and keenly priced compression sprayer manufactured by Matabi, offering a quality alternative to low-cost disposable garden sprayers.
The Basic 7 is suitable for applying all Floorseal cleaners and sealers.
Its translucent tank has a total capacity of 7 litres and a usable working capacity of 5 litres. The remaining space within the tank provides the air chamber required to build spraying pressure. The sprayer also features an ergonomic pump handle, plastic lance, safety valve and a connection for compatible accessories.
The adjustable nozzle allows the spray pattern to be altered to suit the application, from a finer spray to a more direct stream. The supplied lance provides additional reach and helps apply products accurately to patios, driveways, walls and other surfaces.
The shoulder strap makes the sprayer easier to carry during application, particularly when working over larger areas.
The Basic 7 is best suited to occasional domestic and light-duty use. Customers applying cleaning products regularly or carrying out larger professional projects may prefer the upgraded and heavier-duty Industrial 7 or IK Multi 9 pump-up sprayers.
Always read the instructions supplied with the sprayer and the Technical Data Sheet for the cleaner or sealer being applied before starting work.
Attach the hose securely to the connection on the sprayer tank.
Connect the spray handle and lance, ensuring all fittings are firmly tightened.

The integrated safety valve helps protect the tank against excessive pressure.
Lock the pump handle before lifting or carrying the sprayer.
Test the spray pattern away from the main treatment area.
Turn the adjustable nozzle to select the required spray pattern:
Avoid completely unscrewing the nozzle while adjusting it.
Hold the lance at a consistent distance from the surface and press the trigger to begin spraying.
Apply the product methodically, working in manageable sections and following the instructions for the cleaner or sealer.
When treating render, exterior walls or roofs, avoid spraying during windy conditions and always work from a safe position.
Pump the sprayer periodically during use to maintain consistent pressure.
Before opening, refilling or cleaning the sprayer, place it on a stable surface.
Pull or operate the safety valve until all stored pressure has been released.
Never remove the pump assembly while the tank remains pressurised.
Empty any remaining product in accordance with the product instructions.
Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean warm soapy water.
Part-fill the tank with clean water, replace the pump assembly and create a small amount of pressure.
