Remover Plus is for the removal of water-based acrylic coatings & ‘rainbowing’ created by the use of single part resin-based brush in compound. Suitable for use (subject to testing) on natural stone, porcelain, concretes, and clay-based materials such as block paving.

Effective acrylic coating remover in a low odour water-based gel formula

Floorseal Remover Plus is for the removal of water-based acrylic coatings & certain resin-based brush in compound residues. Suitable for use, subject to testing, on natural stone, porcelain, concretes, and clay-based materials such as block pavers.

With suitable dwell time the removal gel will break down residues/light coatings of water-based acrylics & certain single part brush in compounds. Always test for suitability before use. Apply undiluted, keep wet on the surface by adding more product (or a little water). Keep the surface wet for at least 30 mins, the longer the dwell time the more effective the product will be at emulsifying the sealer/contaminant. You may need to repeat this process depending on the type of surface and number of coats/thickness of sealer/contaminant the product encounters.

  • Carry out a test in an inconspicuous area. Shake the container before use. If you find this product is
    not suitable for use on your project, do not continue to use.
  • Carry out a test patch to gain the specific coverage rate, this will vary depending on the material treated and level of
    contamination.
  • Pre-wet the surface with a little water.
  • Apply a liberal coating and allow to dwell for AT LEAST 30 minutes. The longer the dwell time the more effective the product will be at softening and removing the contamination.
  • Agitate the gel periodically with a stiff brush.
  • Do not allow the product to dry out during the dwell time, add more product to prevent this from occurring.
  • You will need to add more product during the 30 minute (minimum) dwell time.
  • Pressure washing (with a HOT pressure washer) after application and adequate dwell time can speed up the removal of surface coatings.
  • Rinse heavily after use.
  • Safe for children and pets once dry.
  • Do not allow to run off into ponds or encounter other aquatic life.
  • This product does NOT remove certain solvent-based acrylics, polyurethane or 2-part epoxy compounds.
  • Ultimately it is the users responsibility to ensure suitability.
  • Avoid applying this in very warm/hot conditions.
  • It is likely you will have to repeat the process to fully remove all coatings.
  • Coverage is dictated by the coating being removed, the number of coats & surface type. Coverage rates are for
    general guidance only.
