The best resin driveway cleaner for dirt, grime, oils & organic contaminations

Resin Driveway Cleaner is a non-acidic water-based deep cleaning agent for safe & effective cleaning of modern resin-based driveways, paths & car parking areas.

This product will deep clean the surface without damaging the resin’s binding agents or colour.

Safely removes dirt, grime, oily residues, bird droppings & car tyre marks. Dilute and apply the product via pump-up sprayer or watering can. Agitate with a stiff brush and rinse off with liberal amounts of clean water.

Easy to apply, with excellent cleaning results

For best results lightly pressure wash the surface before applying the product and lightly pressure wash to rinse off the cleaning solution.

Ongoing cleaning can be carried out with a quick (light) pressure wash & annual (or biannual) quick application of Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate.

How To Use

Please read the Technical Data Sheet for full instructions.
Wear appropriate PPE, safety goggles & gloves.
Carry out a test in an inconspicuous area to ensure suitability & coverage.
Inspect the surface for any damaged or loose areas of resin.
If you find this product is not suitable for your project, do not continue to use.
Lightly pre-wet the surface with a hose pipe, watering can or pressure washer.
If heavily contaminated with clumps of organic growth, pressure wash first to remove. We then recommend pre-treating with Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate.
Dilute Resin Driveway Cleaner from 1:3 with clean water (one part product to three parts water).
Apply with a sprayer or watering can.
Keep the surface wet (by adding more product) & allow to dwell for at least 15 minutes.
Dwell times can be extended, if required.
Occasionally agitate with a medium stiff brush.
Rinse away with a hose pipe.
Lightly pressure washing the surface, to complete the process, produces optimal results.
Repeat as required.
Severe car tyre or oil marks can be spot cleaned (apply at 1:1 or undiluted) with a 15 minute dwell time, rinse off with clean water.
Safe for children, pets & wildlife when dry.
A general maintenance clean can be carried out with Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate once or twice per year to inhibit further organic growth.

Resin Driveway Cleaner will remove fresh oil marks & residues. You may need to spot clean oils with this product with a dilution rate of 1:1 or applied undiluted. When diluting ideally use warm water and agitate the product for up to 15 minutes. Do not allow the product to dry out during this time. Rinse off thoroughly with liberal amounts of water.

Please note: Older marks or oil marks which have ben treated with other chemicals may be fixed i.e. permanent and no longer possible to remove.
Resin Driveway Cleaner is water-based & non-acidic it will not effect the colour of your resin driveway or the binding agents contained within.

Please note: After cleaning your driveway may look lighter in colour particularly if it has not been cleaned for sometime. This is due to all of the existing dirt, grime and residues being totally removed. Some resin’s lighten in colour over time due to the effects of UV light.
You may wish to pre-clean your resin driveway with a pressure washer to remove light clumps of organic growth and then spray the surface with Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate.

If the surface is heavily infested with organic growth you can treat with Green Remover Concentrate at a dilution rate of 1:3 (a few weeks before pressure washing). Then pressure wash again to remove the debris before fully deep cleaning.

The order in which you pre-clean is usually dictated by the level of contamination on your driveway (and type of contamination). Heavy contaminations of organic growth usually mean some kind of pre-cleaning.

General dirt, oily residues & car tyre marks are possible to remove during a general deep clean.
- Test first to obtain a dilution rate which is suitable for your purposes.
- Always use dwell time, cleaners work at their optimal with dwell time.
- You should rinse/neutralise after use.
- Do not kneel in your work area i.e. on the liquid/product.
- Remove heavy moss first by pressure washing, follow up with Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate a few weeks before deep cleaning.
