Creating a wet look finish with Floorseal Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer

Floorseal Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer can be applied to both concrete-based and clay-based block pavers.
This product seals the surface of the paver and solidifies sanded joints, helping to prevent weed growth and staining. The sealer will also deepen the colour of the blocks as it acts as a colour enhancer. This sealer is a topical sealer which resists oil and liquid staining, inhibiting organic growth by creating a protective seal which deepens colour.  

Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer is a rapid-dry modern solvent-based sealer which deepens surface colours to create an enhanced silk or wet-look finish. It is xylene-free, relatively low odour, and non-flammable.

The combination of solvent-based carrying agents and active sealing polymers will deepen colour to a greater degree than water-based sealers. Particularly when the blocks are a deeper earthy colour like red, orange, black & anthracite. The sealer produces a durable, water-repellent & enhanced silk finish.

The product dries within approximately 2 hours and fully cures over 24 hours.

When sanded joints are present, apply liberally into the joint via a sprayer or roller. Allow the joint to absorb the sealer before rolling out thin coats over the surface. Two thin coats are recommended.

When applying to block pavers filled with brush-in compounds, less product will be required as these joints are already solid.

What kind of wet look finish does this product create?

This product is designed to deepen the colour of the blocks, creating a silk like sheen similar to when the blocks are damp. It does not create a high shine, reflective finish, giving a natural depth of colour.
