Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer deepens surface colours, enhancing the appearance of your blocks. producing an attractive, durable enhanced finish.
Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer has a modern xylene free solvent-based formula which is low odour, rapid dry & non-flammable. Easy to apply via roller and/or sprayer. Strongly resists moisture clouding, degradation/discolouration by UV light, resists surface staining & inhibits organic growth.
This sealer will easily penetrate block pavers via its solvent based formula, enhancing dark & earthy colours with a deeper wet look finish.
Dries rapidly & fully cures over 24 hours – apply a minimum of x2 thin coats in dry weather.
This paving sealer will dry rapidly and fully cures over the next 24 hours.
You should liberally apply the sealer into the sanded joints to fully solidify the material, thus inhibiting weed growth. Flood the joint and roller (lightly) over the surface to solidify the sand and seal the block.
When applied to pavers jointed with brush-in compounds you will require less product to seal the face of the blocks (as the joint will not require solidifying).
Perfect for sealing darker or earthy coloured block pavers, deepening colour with a durable silk/wet look finish.
Please allow any newly sanded blocks adequate time for the sand to slump before sealing. This will ensure new sand has become compacted prior to the sealer being applied to bond the sand.
We recommend applying a weed killer to the base of the joint before re-sanding. If you are sealing without re-sanding the joint you should remove all organic growth from the joint. Apply a weed killer to kill any weeds & their roots which may remain deeply embedded into the sand.

Yes, Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer is suitable for use when resin-based brush-in compounds have been applied. The sealer is also suited to pavers which have traditional sanded joints.
It is possible to apply to natural stone & clay pavers, please test for suitability.
Around 3m2 for the 1st coat & 4m2 for the 2nd coat, when applied to pavers with sanded joints. You must apply a reasonable amount of product into a sanded joint to solidify it.
A 5 litre container will therefore cover a maximum 7.5m2 -10m2 of surface area when applied to blocks with sanded joints. The coverage rate on blocks with solid or semi-solid resins would be much greater, as would block paving with very narrow joints.
Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer is a traditionally applied (via roller) solvent-based sealer. It is low odour, non-flammable & can be applied via general masonry short/medium pile roller (or sprayer). This sealer will solidify sanded joints and resists moisture clouding. It is therefore very easy to apply to any block paver. A sprayer can also be used in conjunction with a roller to flood sanded joints thereby solidifying the sand. Please allow newly sanded adequate time for the sand to slump before sealing. This will ensure that the sand is compact enough to become bonded by the introduction of a sealer.
An enhanced satin/silk wet look finish when (typically) applied in x2 thin coats to modern concrete block pavers.
This product will enhance colour, particularly to darker coloured blocks or pavers which have earthy colours – blacks, anthracites, orange, browns & reds.
Clean & remove organic contaminations with Floorseal Block Paving Intensive Cleaner, this will remove black/white spot lichen, algae and light moss. Or for pavers with light green algae, we recommend Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate – This product can also be applied to maintain the pavers after sealing.
We recommend applying a weed killer to the base of the joints (when re-sanding). You should remove/kill any weeds located within (and on the surface) of sanded joints even if you are not going to fully re-sand.
The surface of the blocks needs to be totally dry before applying the sealer. Dry weather needs to be forecast for 24 hours after application. Always ensure both the block and joint are dry before application & the sand has had adequate time to slump/compact before sealing. Newly sanded joints will need some time to compact before sealing. A whacker plate may speed the compaction process.
Apply in a minimum of x2 coats approximately one hour apart when sealing newly laid pavers.
If you have used this product before and are resealing your pavers you may only need to apply one coat.
This product is not suitable for sealing imprinted concrete.
Apply Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate once or twice per year to keep the pavers in tip top condition.
You can seal your blocks within a few weeks of laying with this product. Please ensure newly sanded joints have had adequate time to compact/slump before sealing.
Block Paving Sealer & Enhancer has a solvent-based formula which will typically deepen surface colours and create a silk/wet look finish. This product can be applied to any block paver to seal against staining, inhibit weeds & organic growth, deepen colour & solidify sand. The level of sheen can be increased by adding further thin coats.
Floorseal Block Paving Eco Seal has a water-based formula which does not alter the appearance of the block after sealing. The sealer has a completely matt finish and will seal against staining, inhibit weeds & organic growth & solidify sand.
You should kill any weed growth with a weed killer – apply to the base of the joints before re-sanding. If weed growth is severe we recommend re-sanding. If you are not re-sanding you should treat any moss growth and ideally kill off all weeds (and their roots) with a weed killer before sealing.
