Floorseal Block Paving Eco Seal is an easy-to-use water-based sealer. This product can be applied to old or new cement or concrete-based block pavers. This sealer will seal the surface of the paver and solidify sanded joints, thus inhibiting organic growth and staining.
Free from VOCs with a rapid dry formula. This paving sealer protects block paving whilst retaining a natural matt finish. Much easier to apply and work with than solvent-based sealers. Block paving Eco Seal can be applied and is dry within a few hours – allow the product to fully cure over the next 24 hours in dry weather.
Block Paving Eco Seal is designed to make sealing pavers simple. If the pavers have a sanded joint, you should liberally apply the sealer into the sand to solidify it. When applied to pavers jointed with brush-in compounds you will require less product as the joint does not need solidifying.
This environmentally friendly paving sealer is low odour and rapid drying. It does not contain VOCs, so fume free. The sealer is to be applied in two thin coats, which dry rapidly.
The sealer leaves a matt finish, retaining a more natural appearance to your block pavers.
Please allow any newly sanded joints to slump and compact before sealing.
Available in 5 litre, 10 litre & 20 litre containers. Samples are available via the select size drop down menu.

Approximately 2m2 per litre (1st coat). 5m2 per litre (2nd coat where required).
*The coverage rate will vary due to the level of porosity encountered. Pavers jointed with brush in compounds will require less product so an increased coverage rate.

Yes, Block Paving Eco Seal is suitable for use where brush-in compounds have been applied. As well as pavers with traditional sanded joints.
This product should only be applied to cement or concrete-based block pavers.
Around 2m2 for the 1st coat & 5m2 for the 2nd coat, when applied to pavers with sanded joints. You must apply a reasonable amount of product into a sanded joint to solidify it.
If your pavers have been jointed with a brush-in compound you will achieve a greater coverage rate. Approximately 5m2 – 8m2 per litre as the jointing material does not need solidifying – it is generally less porous.
Block Paving Eco Seal is water-based, low odour and dries quickly so very easy to use. Apply with a sprayer or roller – feed product into sanded joints with a squeegee, roller or sprayer. You only require 2 thin coats.
A natural matt finish.
This product is not designed to create a shine or deepen colour. It may slightly enhance the colour of red or black block pavers.
You can clean & remove organic contaminations with Floorseal Block Paving Intensive Cleaner. This will remove black spot lichen, algae and other organic growth.
Block Paving Eco Seal is VOC free.
Yes, the surface of the pavers needs to be dry before applying this sealer. Dry weather needs to be forecast for 24 hours after application.
Apply in 2 thin coats. Do not apply in thick coats.
This product is not suitable for sealing imprinted concrete.
Apply Floorseal Green Remover Concentrate once or twice per year to keep the pavers in top condition.
Any newly sanded joints (even on older pavers) should be allowed to slump (and possibly more sand added) before sealing. Once the sand has slumped you can seal the pavers.
You should allow newly sanded joints time to slump before sealing. This ensures the sand has compacted enough to be bonded by the sealer. Failure to do so could lead to cracking. You may need to top up a newly sanded joint a week or two after sanding, particularly if it has rained heavily.
