Premium Impregnating Sealer

• Please read the Technical Data Sheet for full instructions.
• Carry out a test in an inconspicuous area.
• If you find this product is not suitable for use on your project, do not continue to use.
• Make sure all surfaces are totally clean and completely dry.
• Remove any residues from grouts and jointing compounds before sealing.
• Do not apply if rain is likely in the next 24 hours.
• For use on Internal floors turn off all underfloor heating systems and allow the floor to cool.
• Apply with a brush, masonry roller, paint pad or sprayer and allow to soak into the surface.
• When applying to exterior surfaces spraying produces the best result.
• Remove all excess with dry (microfibre) cloths within approximately 10 – 20 minutes of application.
• Do not simply apply the product and leave to dry onto the surface; all excess must be removed.
• Apply more product, approximately 40 minutes after the 1st application, remove the excess as before.
• You may only require a single application of this product on very dense surface.
• The product dries in approximately 2 hours and cures over 24 hours.
• This product should only be applied when air temperatures are above 10ºC and below 20ºC.
• Safe for children and pets when dry.
• Do not apply to non-porous surfaces.
• Can be used as a pre-sealer before grouting.

100% breathable sealer for quality internal and external natural stone

Premium Impregnating Sealer is a fully breathable powerful impregnating sealer. This impregnating breathable sealer is suited to any application where, once sealed, the surface retains an unaltered natural appearance. This stone & tile sealer is suitable for sealing internal or external natural stone, man-made or clay-based tile. This includes surfaces which may be dense, polished or finely honed. Premium Impregnating Sealer allows full moisture vapour transmission so is suitable for listed buildings. This effective sealer is perfect for any situation where the treated surface needs to resist water and oil-based staining. In addition to this Premium Impregnating Sealer does not alter the surface it is applied to. Sealing natural stone or tile resists water & oil-based staining and organic growth like algae. The sealed surface makes ongoing maintenance much easier. This sealer penetrates the surface of the stone or tile and becomes meshed into the pores. It will still allow 100% moisture vapour transmission. Suitable for Victorian geometric Minton tiles, including mosaics, quarry tile and Edwardian terrazzo floors. It will allow moisture transmission from lime based screeds and mortar. Premium Impregnating Sealer can be applied to both interior and exterior surfaces for maximum protection against staining. It is a powerful and versatile floor tile sealer and wall tile sealer. Suitable for use in kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, worktops and shower cubicles.

Premium Impregnating Sealer for tiles & grout

This sealer can be used to seal both the face of the tile and associated grout lines. This includes lime based joints or modern sand and portland cement based pointing. Any porous tile can be sealed with this product, it is particularly useful when you wish to retain an unaltered appearance. The polymers which seal the tile penetrate the surface and become meshed into the pores, they do not create a surface sheen or shine. It is for this reason we describe the product as ‘matt finish’ – In actual fact, as with most impregnators, it has no visible finish due to it being a sub surface sealer. The sealer does not ‘wear’ like a surface sealer as there is no surface film to wear off. The product should be applied to a totally dry surface and allowed to penetrate into the pores of the tile. Make sure you wipe any excess from the surface before it dries. This product can be applied by roller, paint pad or brush in a single application or two consecutive applications (dependant on porosity). When sealing allow the product to soak in, then remove any obvious excess within approximately 10 – 20 minutes. Remove the excess with microfibre cloths, absorbing all excess sealant. This product will leave the treated surface with a breathable natural seal. It can be used on external and internal surfaces including wet rooms. It will not effect the slip resistance to your tiles. The individual level of porosity of each type of surface will dictate the overall coverage.

As a general guide 5 litres of product will cover 20m2-25m2 when applied in 2 consecutive applications.
