Not necessarily, you may still wish to re-seal though as its a logical time to re-seal a stone floor. Most of the hard work relates to cleaning stone floors, sealing is relatively straight forward. If your floor has not been sealed for 4 or 5 years and you have deep cleaned the surface it is a good time to re-seal as the floor is clean. The original sealer will still be partially active after 4- 5 years but its worthwhile spending some time to top it up. Most stone floors will have been sealed with an impregnating sealer, which just breaks down over time, so they are easy to top up with more sealer.
Acrylics will probably be worn out in 4-5 years, so you may wish to re-seal this type of sealer. Or fully strip the floor before re-sealing. Acrylic sealers are usually obvious as they create a sheen/shine, acrylics are quite common on slate floors. But must less so on sandstone/limestone/travertine flooring.
