Porcelain Patio Spring Clean

Porcelain Patio Spring Clean is perfect for use when cleaning any exterior porcelain patio after the cold wet months. This product will remove algae, slime, general dirt, leaf staining, black lichen & bird droppings.

Use a low pressure pump up sprayer or watering can. Keep the surface visibly wet to allow the product to work. Agitating with a stiff brush is beneficial – rinse off after use.

Dilute the product 1:3 with clean water (one part product to three parts water). You can also apply the cleaner undiluted to remove heavy contaminations, or problematic staining caused by leaf drop.

This product requires a dwell time of approximately 15 minutes, keep the porcelain patio tiles wet during this time. The dwell time can be extended to many hours if required. Keep the surface wet by spraying more product over the surface or a very fine mist of water from a hose pipe.

In most cases, this product will remove leaf staining. You may need to apply the product undiluted if the contamination is severe. The dwell time should be extended to many hours – 12 hours or more. Superficial leaf staining will disappear rapidly.

A 5 litre container will cover 100m2+ When diluted at a ratio of 1:3 with clean water.

Not necessarily, Porcelain Patio Spring Clean is designed to work as a stand-alone cleaner. It can still be beneficial to pressure wash the patio after the cleaning solution has been rinsed away.

The reason porcelain tiles are difficult to clean when fitted outside is because they have an anti-slip texture which attracts & holds dirt. They might be a very pale colour i.e white or cream so they also show dirt more obviously than a dark tile.

Exterior porcelain tiles are actually slightly porous as they have micro-pores which absorb staining such as mud & leaf staining.
